Emma Gouin
Saint Martin / Sint Maarten

Emma Gouin grew up in the Bordeaux region of France, surrounded by great vineyards and great food. She soon developed a passion for international travel, studying international business and marketing at Bernom University.

She broadened her restaurant-management skills in London as assistant manager at Le Piaf. In 1996 she returned home to help open Petit Bateau Conakry, a hotel serving the business community. Seeking new experience, she moved to St. Martin to work in hospitality and in 1999 joined Bertrand L’Herbette at Fabulous Feast as accountant.

Quickly taking on events, kitchen management, marketing and customer relations, she became an equity partner in 2003, helping the company expand to St. Barth’s and the US. As day-to-day manager, she has driven steady growth with meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to client satisfaction. For the past few years, Emma has been solely at the helm of Fabulous Feasts St Martin and partner with Romain in St Barth

Romain Villaret
Saint Barth

Romain Villaret, born in France’s Drôme region, was inspired to cook by his mother and grandmother and by the flavors of Provence and Lyon.

In 2000 he trained at Institut Vatel, gaining culinary, service, and management skills through placements at Relais & Châteaux Fitz Roy, Beaufort Park (Wales), and Domaine du Colombier. In 2004 he joined Fabulous Feasts in St. Martin, run by his cousin Bertrand L’Herbette and Emma Gouin.

Mentored there, Romain became majority owner and head chef of Fabulous Feast’s St. Barth’s, where he delivers refined French cuisine and high-quality service for an exclusive clientele.
